Zafina is a new character who is scheduled to appear in Tekken 6, as she was featured in the official trailer for Tekken 6 ([3]). During the trailer, she was shown fighting Asuka Kazama and Jack-6. She is the defender of a temple located in what seems to be Egypt. Although she may be from India owing to her martial art style.

- Along with fighting in the trailer, Zafina also opened two doors and was shocked at what she saw. What she saw is unknown, but speculation leads it to have been Azazel.
- In one of Zafina's animations shown before a fight, she says "Leave now if you value your life!" In one of Zafina's win animations, which was shown in the official trailer, she says "Don't say I didn't warn you."
- Zafina (and also Christie Monteiro in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection) can be customized to look like Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin.
- Zafina's nationality is officially stated as unknown. You can see this when you compare her nationality with Armor King's on the official Tekken-6-Website. Both have 不明 (japanese for unknown) in their nationality-field ([4]).

Zafina will have moves that Director Katsuhiro Harada (who also directed Tekken 5) likened to that of a "spider". Also, d/f+2 is a high crush. Three of her stances have been confirmed. Those stances are "Tarantula Stance", "Scarecrow Stance", and "Praying Mantis Stance". Some of the commands for Zafina's moves are "d+1+2 (goes into "Tarantula Stance")", "("Tarantula Stance") 4,3", "3+4 (goes into "Scarecrow Stance")", "("Scarecrow Stance") 3,4,4", "d+3+4 (goes into "Praying Mantis Stance")", and "("Praying Mantis Stance") 2,1,4" ([5]).

Zafina, who has great spiritual powers, was born to a group of spiritual warriors with an ancient past.
Since childhood, Zafina was raised to be a protector of an imperial temple. Several years ago, a foreign army attacked the imperial temple she and her group were protecting, and Zafina single handedly wiped every single one of them out. Since then, the group’s guru appointed her to be its sole assassin.
In her public life, she uses her spiritual powers as an astrologist, but recently, she can only see evil omens, and her premonitions grow more and more intense day by day. Seeking to understand the meaning behind all of this, Zafina sought the advice of her guru, and he began to tell her an ancient tale passed down from generation to generation only to a select few. According to the tale, two evil stars will shake the world when they come into contact, and, inevitably, the two will unite with the sealed ancient evil being protected by her group, destroying the world. Zafina considered the meaning behind the guru’s tale and her premonitions well.
Setting out on a course that took her far east, to the place the evil stars were believed to be gathering, she wanted to see if the world was truly going to end.
