Introduction

Tiger is playable in both Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament, and he is "unlocked" by selecting Eddy Gordo with the Start button (although Tekken 3 requires you to beat the game with seventeen unique characters first). It's not known whether or not that Tiger is a friend of Eddy's or a altenate-ego of him. Namco has never said anything about this.

Trivia

  • In Tekken 3, Tiger can be used after beating the game with all of the characters. To use him, the player must go to Eddy Gordo on the "Character Select" screen and press either the "Start" button or the "Triangle" button.
  • Tiger Jackson's bosses in the Tekken Force side game in Tekken 3 are (in order of appearance) Eddy Gordo, Eddy Gordo, himself, and Heihachi Mishima.
  • A possible friend or an alternate-ego of Eddy. In Tekken Tag Torunament, their endings are both the same and the two are seen as differnt people and seperate. But Tekken Tag is not canon so it's still unknown if Tiger and Eddy are the same person or two different people.
  • Tiger Jackson's name is never said by the announcer in Tekken 3 or Tekken Tag Tournament.
    • In Tekken Tag Tournament, there is a glitch with Tiger (and Eddy) when he is used as a Practice Mode dummy. All attacks performed on Tiger are read as a combo string, and it doesn't reset until you hit him to the ground or into full crouch.
  • Tiger Jackson can be seen in the Pool Party stage of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. He can be seen even when Eddy Gordo is in the stage as well. Tiger replaces Lee Chaolan, who was the fighter seen in this stage in Tekken 5 (except when he was fighting).
  • In Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, it is possible to customize Eddy Gordo to look like Tiger Jackson.

Story

Tekken 3

Tekken 3 Tiger Jackson (standing up).
A true lover of all things 70's.

Tiger loves a good groove and is a proficient disco dancer, utilizing his dancing skills and his martial arts to deadly precision.

Note: Tiger has not been given a story anywhere else, and it is still debatable who Tiger really is. There is also no proof that this came from Namco.

Ending Animation "Super Fly!"

Tiger is at a disco club dancing to some disco music. The scene ends with Tiger striking a pose.

Tekken Tag Tournament

Tekken Tag Tournament Tiger Jackson (on the left / laying on the ground.).

Tiger Jackson is featured as a playable character in Tekken Tag Tournament. However, Tekken Tag Tournament is not a part of the Tekken series' canonical storyline. This is Tiger's last appearance as a playable character.

Ending Animation

Tiger is shown pointing at the sky and saying something in what appears to be Ling Xiaoyu's stage. Then, he points to the sky with his other hand. He raises and lowers one of his hands, and then he raises and lowers his other hand. He spins around once in one direction. Then, he spins around again in the opposite direction. Finally, he points at the screen and grins.
