Zafina is a new character who is scheduled to appear in Tekken 6, as she was featured in the official trailer for Tekken 6 ([3]). During the trailer, she was shown fighting Asuka Kazama and Jack-6. She is the defender of a temple located in what seems to be Egypt. Although she may be from India owing to her martial art style, or from Saudi Arabia due to one of her costumes and several of her customizations.

- Along with fighting in the trailer, Zafina also opened two doors and was shocked at what she saw. What she saw is unknown, but speculation leads it to have been Azazel.
- Some of Zafina's animations that are shown before a fight feature her saying "Leave now if you value your life!", "This is a battle you won't walk away from!", "I've warned you.", and "Death becomes you." Some of Zafina's animations that are shown after winning a fight (win animations) feature her saying "Don't say I didn't warn you.", "I must hurry.", "Leave now, and you may live.", and "Your will isn't strong enough to change fate.". She also has an extra win animation which shows her crawling like a spider towards the camera. Then in another angle, she is seen to be actually crawling away from her lying unconscious opponent.
- Zafina (and also Christie Monteiro in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection) can be customized to look like Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin.
- Zafina's nationality is officially stated as unknown.

[edit] Appearance
Zafina appears to a Arabic woman whose nationality is currently unknown, although her features suggest a Semitic or Eastern European ethnicity. She has short black hair and brown eyes.
[edit] First outfit
Her first outfit consists of a beige sleeveless midriff with a purple object with silver designs on it directly below, which goes all the way around her stomach. She also wears beige gloves with a purple outlining at the parts where they reach her hands. These gloves do not cover her palm or her fingers, making them similar to those worn by Anna Williams in Tekken 5 and onwards. A purple string from these gloves is wrapped around her middle fingers. Purple bracelets with silver designs on them, like the object that is directly under her midriff, are wrapped around these gloves below the part where they start at her arms. Beige strings with small brown designs on them hang down from the gloves at the parts of her lower arms. She also wears a small silver metal chain around her stomach, over her belly button. She also wears a red skirt with many yellow designs on it. It covers half of the top of her left leg, and only a small part of her right leg, as it is wrapped around her in such a way that it reveals more of her right leg and less of her left leg. She also wears a turqoise belt with large silver designs on it. There are also small yellow lines on the top and bottom of it. She also wears a metal bracelet on her right leg at the part where her skirt reaches on her left leg. It has a green and yellow vertical rectangles pattern on it, with small white dots in the middle of them. The outlining at the top and the bottom appears to be yellow. She also wears a red acscot with yellow designs on it around her neck. She also wears blue and orange earrings, with the large ring being orange and the small ring being blue. She also wears dark green nail polish on her fingernails and her toenails. She wears brown sandals, which show most of the tops of her feet, with the only parts that are covered are the parts that the straps cover. She also has blue gems that are connected by a yellow band going from the top strap to the bottom strap.

Her second outfit consists of a red sleeveless dress, which has many silver outlinings, which also go around her waist. It is split in the front and the back in upside-down "V" formations. There is also a peach snake-like design on it. She wears red gloves that cover her hands completely and she also appears to be wearing light black gloves under them, which may be similar in design to her first outfit's gloves. They go past her red gloves and slightly past her lower arms. She also wears silver bracelets directly below her hands. She also appears to be wearing something black under her dress, which goes above her dress and covers her neck, but nothing else. Her panties are light black. She also wears light black stockings with small light brown designs on them, which cover most of her legs, leaving only half of the tops of her legs visible. She wears gray high heels with silver straps.

Zafina's customizations include puffy Arabian pants, a midriff that shows a lot of cleavage with a design similar to a bra, a miniskirt, and a strapless bra-like clothing item and a skirt-like clothing item combination. She also has options for her gloves and bracelets, including to remove them entirely. She also has an Arabian hairstyle, very similar to that of Disney's Princess Jasmine, earrings, and many sunglasses, including black sunglasses, exotic sunglasses, normal glasses, and yellow stars sunglasses.

Zafina has a cold personality. She also appears to be threatening her opponent at times, due to her pre-fight quotes, such as "I warned you", "This is a battle you won't walk away from!", and "Death becomes you", as well as her win animation quote "Don't say I didn't warn you.". However, she appears to want to spare her opponent's life at times, due to her "Leave now if you value your life!" pre-fight quote and her "Leave now, and you may live" win animation quote. Zafina appears to be dedicated to her mission to destroy the two "evil stars", judging by her win animation quote "I must move on.". She also appears to, at times, enjoy fighting, as she can be heard laughing slightly after performing some of her moves. Other than this, very little is known about her personality.

Zafina's fighting style is Kalarippayattu and Ancient Assassination. Zafina has moves that Director Katsuhiro Harada likened to that of a "spider". Zafina has three confirmed stances, the "Tarantula" stance, the "Scarecrow" stance, and the "Praying Mantis" stance. She has many moves for these stances, as well as many moves that can go into these stances. Some of the commands for Zafina's moves are "d+1+2 (goes into "Tarantula Stance")", "("Tarantula Stance") 4,3", "3+4 (goes into "Scarecrow Stance")", "("Scarecrow Stance") 3,4,4", "d+3+4 (goes into "Praying Mantis Stance")", and "("Praying Mantis Stance") 2,1,4". Also, d/f+2 is a high crush ([4]).

Zafina, who has great spiritual powers, was born to a group of spiritual warriors with an ancient past.
Since childhood, Zafina was raised to be a protector of an imperial temple. Several years ago, a foreign army attacked the imperial temple she and her group were protecting, and Zafina single handedly wiped every single one of them out. Since then, the group’s guru appointed her to be its sole assassin.
In her public life, she uses her spiritual powers as an astrologist, but recently, she can only see evil omens, and her premonitions grow more and more intense day by day. Seeking to understand the meaning behind all of this, Zafina sought the advice of her guru, and he began to tell her an ancient tale passed down from generation to generation only to a select few. According to the tale, two evil stars will shake the world when they come into contact, and, inevitably, the two will unite with the sealed ancient evil being protected by her group, destroying the world. Zafina considered the meaning behind the guru’s tale and her premonitions well.
Setting out on a course that took her far east, to the place the evil stars were believed to be gathering, she wanted to see if the world was truly going to end.
Zafina's storyline is unchanged between Tekken 6 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.
