Alex was introduced in Tekken 2, and he returned for Tekken Tag Tournament. Alex does not have his own character space in either one of the two games that he is in. Instead, he shares his character space with Roger. Both Roger and Alex also share the same moves / fighting style. Alex has his own ending in Tekken 2, but he shares his ending with Roger in Tekken Tag Tournament.

- To fight him in Tekken 2 is necessary to win Stage 3 doing a GREAT! in the final round you fight. If your character have been selected with one of kick buttons, he will be your opponent at Stage 4, otherwise it will be Roger. Once encountred, he and Roger will be unlocked.
- To unlock him in Tekken Tag Tournament win the game with six different characters.
- Since Tekken: The Motion Picture is non-canonical, Lee wasn't really his creator. Doctor Bosknovitch was his true creator. Kazuya forced him to create Alex and Roger.
- Roger jr can be custimized to look like him in tekken 6.

The atrocious living thing was captured to have it's DNA collected. The DNA of the dinosaur, which is collected from an insect contained in the amber of tree sap, was collected by the military animal research team which develops the strongest of military animals. Still, it is not mature but it has aggressive power. If it becomes an adult, it is expected to become the strongest living creature in the world.

Alex is studying a rock that appears to have a dinosaur fossil in it. A dinosaur's face flashes on the screen and Alex roars and starts running, gradually gaining speed. He runs up the mountain and, having got to see one of his ancestors, happily jumps up into the air, putting one of his fists up.

It turns out that the secret weapon Heihachi Mishima had planned is a lizard-like beast named Alex. Lee Chaolan created the dinosaur experiments. Lee wasn't aware that an Alex had brutally killed Anna Williams. Either he wasn't aware OR he wanted her killed. Nothing else is known about Anna's death. Also while Jun Kazama was going to fight Kazuya. Alex roared interrupting their fight. Jun and Kazuya fights the Alexs. Jun is weakened and then Kazuya kills an Alex by ripping it's mouth open dying of a blood loss. Kazuya then gets cocky when killing the Alexs and he feels the evil within him and uses his evil powers to slaughter them all. He peforms the Lightning Uppercut on two Alex dinosaurs. Lee is shocked that Kazuya has killed many of his experiments.
Alex appears in Tekken Tag Tournament as a playable character. Tekken Tag Tournament, unlike Tekken 2, is not a canonical game in the Tekken series. This is Alex's last appearance as a playable character in a Tekken game.

Alex is playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors" with Yoshimitsu. Alex's boxing gloves force Alex to choose "Rock" every time. Knowing this, Yoshimitsu picks "Paper" every time and wins the first round every time. This ending takes place in Paul Phoenix's Tekken Tag Tournament stage.

- Created by Doctor Boskonovitch as a genetically engineered animal soldier, along with Roger.
- In Tekken: The Motion Picture, an Alex kills Anna Williams.
- Alex is killed by Kazuya Mishima in the aforementioned movie.
